Dr.
Renee Sherman Strauss began her career as a school
psychologist. She worked for fifteen years in the public
and private schools in Pennsylvania and New
Jersey. During that time, she conducted evaluations of
students in order to address learning differences,
emotional needs, behavioral concerns, and gifted
abilities. Dr. Strauss has participated in creating
Individualized Educational Plans for students. She has
extensive experience as a consultant to teachers and
parents in analyzing and addressing the educational needs
of students.
Dr.
Strauss has a doctoral degree in School Psychology from
Temple University. She completed a master’s degree in
Counselor Education from Temple University, and a bachelor
of art degree in Psychology and Art History from Boston
University. Dr. Strauss is a certified school psychologist
in Pennsylvania and a Nationally Certified School
Psychologist.
Dr.
Strauss travels throughout the United States in order to
visit colleges and talk with admissions personnel. She
attends regional and national conferences on transitioning
to college and admissions. |
